Given how short this book was, the plot was well paced. I thought the timeline in which the characters finally got together made sense. (Also I can’t hate a he’s falls first troupe). I do appreciate the autism and demisexual rep. This was a cute read.

3.5 ⭐️s rounded to 4! This was a joy to read. Gabriella and Jonathan are work place enemies to lovers but the story was a little predictable. However, I enjoyed it alot! Spicy

This book was exactly what I needed to get into the holiday spirit!
Sometimes when I read novellas it feels rushed, like the author really needed longer to tell that story and make it believable. That’s not at all how I felt about this one - the story developed at just the right pace and I didn’t feel like it was too short or just cut off. It is sweet and fun, with all the best homage paid to Pride and Prejudice without being a “retelling.” We get a little bit of steam at the end, and the epilogue ties it up right in a lovely Christmas bow.
Bottom line - I will continue to read anything/everything Chloe Liese puts out because she tells authentic, lovely, heartfelt stories that make me feel seen in unexpected ways.

Not my fav, but I guess there has to be ONE book you dislike from your fav authors.
