This was super cute! Great Christmas novella

This was such a lovely cosy Christmas read. It was definitely a great pick for my first Christmas read of 2023. ❄️☃️
A lot of this book was predictable but I feel like Chloe Liese wrote this in a way that made it better to read as you felt the build up just like the characters would. ♥️

Predictable but cute. The epilogue was my fave.

This book was under 200 pages, but still somehow managed to drag on. It was a rivals to lovers story stuffed into an enemies to lovers box. There was so much uncalled for enmity from the FMC, purely from a perceived threat. The main characters are co-managers at a struggling bookstore, and decide whoever makes the most sales in December is the one who gets to keep the job, as if that would ever be their decision to make and not the owners'.
