Couldn’t put down.

Love this story. They were broken apart and complete together. A little heat to color it up. A good amount of mystery to make you wonder what’s going to happen next.

This is the first book that I have read by Willow Winters. I have been promoting her on my blog for a while now and one of my bloggers reads all of her books. So, I thought it was time for me to read one of her books.

A Kiss to Tell is a standalone. Although, there will be more books in which I am very happy about.

This is Sebastian Black & Chloe Rose’s story. Sebastian is a bad boy, now man. They grew up in a rough neighborhood. Chloe’s mother died and she moved in with her uncle.

They lived in the same neighborhood, went to the same school. Sebastian was a year older than Chloe and she should have been off limits. They shared a kiss early on. And, now it is 5 years later when she has lost everyone. She is alone, scared and broken. He should have stayed away but, he has been keeping an eye on her. And, their story continues on.

Sebastian has only 1 friend his name is Carter. He is a few years younger than Sebastian. I didn’t realize Carter’s story is has already been written until I got to the end of the book. I will now be buying that book because I need to read Carter’s Story.

I enjoyed reading A Kiss to Tell but, I feel like there is a missing piece, I am not sure what it is though. I am looking forward to reading Merciless. I give A Kiss to Tell 4 stars.

Sensual, seductive, thrilling... I devoured this gorgeous, romantic suspense novel.

The tone is so engaging, it just pulls you into this dark mystery-romance. I love love LOVE Sebastian with his protective, brooding, alpha manner. He's so protective of Chloe.

Trust me, get lost in this delicious new book today. You'll be so glad you did~

Boring-sebastian and his friend were the only likeable characters. Chole had been through some trauma sure but it seemed like she cried in almost every single chapter and got repetitive and boring and pathetic. Almost DNF

A Kiss to Tell revolves around Sebastian and Chloe.
They have been in each other’s lives since childhood.
They are drawn to one another.
But neither acts on it except that one time in high school,a kiss followed by an order.
But that kiss was all it took for their pull towards one another to become that just more magnetic.
Chloe has had one hell of a hard life!
Which just keeps getting worse by the day.
A horrible night many years ago has left her in terror and panicky.
She’s only calm and at peace in her mind when she’s with Sebastian.
Sebastian also has had a difficult childhood.
When he was able to leave his abusive home he did.
But being in the area he’s grownup in doesn’t leave any opportunities for him except to become
the bad boy that puts fear into others.
He’s always been protective of Chloe.
Much more now than ever before because of all the despair that’s swirling around Chloe.
I love the way Sebastian was so caring and protective of her.
Especially when the sun would go down and the dark would prevail he was always right there.
Their attraction to one another is so gripping.
It’s like a living force.
Besides their intense feeling for one another there’s also a mystery going on.
Some questions to the intrigue going on are answered towards the end.
Some aren’t and those are for future books.
The biggest surprise I got was seeing some past character(s) from books!
I loved that!
I thought it was pure brilliance on the part of Ms. Winters!
I am extremely happy and excited to get to read about more new characters and seeing glimpses of old ones in this new series that’s being created by this phenomenal storyteller!

I'm so happy I read this book before starting Carter's set because while this gave you Sebastian and Chloe's story, it also let you peek inside of Carter and part of the reason why he became the person he became. I loved Bastian and his protectiveness and love for Chloe for all those years. The way he felt about her was the way you want a man to feel about you. He kept pushing her away so she had a chance to reach her potential but when they both saw that she was stuck because of her own grief they came together to heal each other. This was an awesome book!

The book was too rushed in my opinion. There felt like too much focus on the trauma rather than the romance aspect when it is an actual romance book.

This is my first Willow Winters book and I have to say, I was very surprised. I'm not sure if this is how all her writing is or not. This read was dark. Like dark thoughts. Dark happenings. It was even scary at times.

Chloe is plagued by horrible nightmares featuring her dead mother. It's the guilt for not helping her when she was raped and murdered. Sebastian has always been around. Protecting her. At one point, kissing her to make her forget her pain. She had never forgotten that kiss and how much it helped. Now years later, her mother's killer has been found dead and others start to die off as well. Is it coincidence or are all the people who were involved or could have helped her mother getting killed off? Is she next? The nightmares start getting worse. Almost real. Even when awake she feels like she's still in the nightmare. Like someone watches her. Sounds in her house as if someone is inside. Is she going crazy?

Sebastian has always been Chloe's silent protector. Never able to leave her alone. The urge to protect her always there. Especially with him working for Romano, the man who runs the city. There is no escape for Sebastian. Even if there was, how does he leave behind Chloe? The sudden spike in deaths worries him especially when Chloe's mental stability is questioned. She is not sleeping. Barely eating.

The ending is a twist. I did not see that coming. The last few lines made me cry and I will be checking out Merciless very soon to get Carter Cross' story. I do highly recommend this read with the warning that the thoughts are dark and could trigger some people.
