Unfortunately, this entry in the series was quite mid, especially when accounting for how much I enjoyed the first book. 
I think it was just too long, the first section, 'Legacy' was the strongest of the three, with the middle one, 'Order' being the weakest. With some major cuts and edits I think it could have been more enjoyable, but for me it just seemed to drag on. 
Nonetheless I am liking the series overall and looking forward to the final installment.

In many ways this was stronger than Wool, but it struggled with the same pacing issues at the end. I liked the three-novella structure, and the exploration of the world as the prologue builds towards the start of Wool.

I enjoyed a lot of this second book! There were some moments that dragged a bit, especially one storyline that I just didn’t care about at all, but I like how everything ended up tying together with the end of the first book.
