If you are an artists in any and all forms, you need to read this book. The word of Neil and the drawings of Chris are a masterpiece. It’s inspiring and now I can’t wait to make good art!
As I've mentioned in previous reviews, I LOVE Neil Gaiman. His books are just wonderful. When I spotted he'd done another small book about art I immediately got hold of a copy.
I've read the four short articles/speeches in his other book, the view from the cheap seats. Make Good Art can be purchased on it's own in a lovely little edition. All of them are full of passion for words, for writing, for libraries and for reading. Chris Riddell's art is beautiful and captures the essence of the words on each page.
This is a delight. And just in time for Christmas!

The book that EVERY librarian in the world should read....this is library advocacy at it's best. Just when I think Gaiman can't surprise me anymore he blows me out of the water. Well done.
