Composed of three Neil Gaiman's speeches? texts?. Credo, Make Good Art, Making a Chair and On Libraries. As someone who had already read so many passages from such a small book, I was not expecting to be trhilled. I was wrong. I found myself constantly smiling and holding my breath, absolutely inspired by what I was reading. I felt the urge to read more books, to make it easier for the people around me to read more books, even if they are books that I don't feel like reading myself, I found myself wanting to take beautiful pictures of my path and wanting to write a poem.

Wholesome. Just what I needed right now as I try to figure out what it means to, like, actually be a writer in the real world

Stunning anthology of not only why art matters, but the importance of books, the library, and the pursuit of art. This book is for all who have lingered at the edge of their imagination and curiosity.
