En el relato que cuenta como fue secuestrada es terrible el sentimiento no poder hacer nada y solo esperar alguna oportunidad.

The book written by Natascha herself, is a very well-written, very great book. It seems like she really has come to term with what has happened, and tries to explain the consecvenses of the abduction. She really seems to understand the psykologically effects of the torture created by her abducter.

I don’t want to go into any of the things that were written in the book as this is something she has experienced in real life and I am in no way, shape or form in any position to judge or comment on any of it. My heart goes out to her and I hope she and her loved ones have been able to heal and move on from this.

Writing-wise I will say that this was very fluid and had you stuck in a flow where it was genuinely super easy to binge this in one go.

This was a re-read for me as I have read this book over a decade ago back when I still a teenager and in school, but it’s nice to see my feelings over this book haven’t changed at all.

Solid 3 stars. Would recommend if you’re into true crime or autobiographies.

This book was incredible. How she adapted and therefore survived that ordeal... incredible.
She writes in a very introspective and compelling way, and has left me contemplating the true meaning of good and evil and humanity.

Really hard to rate a book like this when it is so personal and traumatic. A truly incredible story, so hard to get your head round.

Interesting read, although I felt like it spent too much time with her early childhood.
