Audio Review:

I’ve been looking forward to Maddie and Grayson’s story ever since I finished Distance. The sexual tension between the two of them has been obvious since the previous book and it just completely exploded in this one.

I was totally here for the banter, especially in the beginning when they both “hated” each other. But I also totally cheered when they finally gave in to what they really felt for each other. They still had some bumps in their relationship due to Grayson’s past and the way Maddie felt that she should want what her mother wanted for her. I loved how possessive Grayson was over her once he finally gave into his feelings for her. And when Maddie realized that she didn’t want the nice, sweet relationship and life that her mother wanted for her she completely embraced Grayson’s dark side and their relationship. And let me just say I was totally here for the way Maddie stood up to her mother to tell her just that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. I’ve been a fan of Maxine Mitchell for awhile and she completely brought Maddie to life with her narration. I also really enjoy the way she narrates the male characters, that can be hit or miss, but she does a phenomenal job with it. Robert Hatchet is a new narrator for me, but I really enjoyed his work in this and thought he did a fantastic job bringing Grayson to life.

The story was really quick paced and did feel a little rushed at times, but still enjoyable. I am also thoroughly looking forward to Luca’s book!

This was basically a repeat of the first book in this series.

If the dedication doesn't make you salivate and make you want more I don't know what to tell you

Not as good as the first since I felt this was almost a carbon copy of Distance. But what really got to me was
Spoiler at the end of Distance it clearly said Keller and Sienna were adopting Max in the epilogue after the baby was born. Max was mentioned a single time in Detonate with nothing to corroborate they adopted him successfully, while they mentioned the new baby a bunch. I know this wasn't their book but it would have been so simple to include Max when the baby was mentioned. It made me feel like the author forgot they were adopting Max when she wrote Detonate. And I really wish more romance books highlighted adoption and it would have been so easy to mention Max in this one.

Think I have fell in love with Grayson ! He is the book boyfriend you dream of, grumpy , romantic , handsome and would kill anyone for touching you. Loved book one with Si & Keller but this topped that one ! Now to read number 3 ❤️

Ugghh Grayson

Grayson and Maddie was the book I never knew I needed. Also can I just say how much I absolutely love her because she really put up with a lot and gave it right back to everyone! These two were perfect for each other and I’ve been rooting for them since they first met in Keller and Siennas book.
