4.5.
I liked both Vincent and Sophie a great deal. This is the book where Vincent is blind (from the war) and Sophie was a poor relation living with an aunt and uncle who basically ignored her. The two both have obstacles to overcome and they work together and separately to do that. It was great.

The main issue was a lack of communication, but in the best possible way.
This was fun and cheesy, and I like these characters. They're not perfect, and they know it.

I cannot fully give this book 5 stars, just because of the bad sex. 4.5
Update on second read: the lack of orgasm at first bothered me less because I was expecting it, so 5 stars.

Vincent was such a sweetheart and I loved the whole set-up, but there was something missing from their relationship I felt. It needed more romance!
Love it! Always enjoy a plain Jane story. Read on Overdrive, bought and now on kindle
