The ending almost made me cry. Books are still just as important now.

Just can’t get into this one right now. Might come back to it.

3.5 I enjoyed this listen. Kudos to the author for all the research she did and her attention to detail. The glimpse into life in London during WWII was fascinating.

Ummm cozy historical fiction anyone?

Reading a fictional story about a very real and devastating war is slightly more stressful than reading a fictional story about a fictional war centering fictional creatures.

What I’m trying to say is… I’m happy to branch out but I think I’ll stick to fantasy, thanks. (Either that or I’m about to go on the wildest historical fiction reading bender the world has ever seen—TBD.)
