I really liked this book there were enough crazy things happening to keep me interested. I wanted to slap the protagonists sister and spank her daughter. I wanted to say to her stop letting her sister be mean to her. That is all the spoilers I am offering.

It was a pretty good book, I wasn’t a huge fan of the writing style in terms of the descriptive words used (or over used) or the constant need to use adjectives. The overall story was good but I wish it started earlier in terms of the timeline. It was a good quick read though.
I thought this book was just “okay”. The premise was there but what happens is simply too far fetched to be believable. I mean how many bracelets did this guy have made? He could not possibly be using the same one over and over and why didn’t she burn it or throw it out her car window to get rid of it? And her husband and her sister .. that couldn’t be anymore disastrous and Brooke doesn’t even question him giving her sister a crap ton of money that they don’t even have. Tell me she didn’t read between the lines there? Ridiculous! I did read the whole book and I typically like Lisa Jackson, but this definitely wasn’t a favorite. 😦
