Me ha gustado mucho, no sé si ha sido por la decepción de lecturas que he encadenado este año y esta novela me ha resultado rápida y fresca o por cualquier otro motivo. Es un libro muy ligero, se lee muy rápido y tienes todo tipo de personajes. La historia en sí es muy simple, pero me gustan la reflexiones de la protagonista a lo largo de la lectura, para mí, totalmente recomendable.
I needed to read this in preparation for the Netflix adaptation coming out in December and I have had it on my kindle for quite a while so I decided now was the perfect time to read it. Also, after reading two heavier books this was the perfect one to pick up. I loved the characters and their journey. I found the story to be heartwarming and had tears in my eyes by the end. Now I really cannot wait to watch the movie!

There are no words to express how utterly perfect this book is. I feel like everyone 13 and up would benefit from reading this book. This is a beautiful story with a tenacious teen FMC who has a strained relationship with her mother and has a falling out with her best friend. But also discovers love in the most unlikely places. Julie Murphy is a f*cking genius and you’d only do yourself a disservice by not reading this book!
Honestly, this book makes me just go meh, which depresses me because I really wanted to like this book (I really really wanted too!) Don't get me wrong it's got a good message, but there is nothing more infuriating than a love triangle where the main chickadee ends up with a douche canoe and the really good guy just gets hurt. (Because the douche canoe she ends up with in my opinion is a total creep and jerk and it was honestly like she fell head over heels in love with the first boy that ever paid her any attention).
