Jane Washington ALWAYS kills it.

The beginning of the book starts out EXTREMELY slow. So much that I almost dnfed. I am SO happy I read reviews and stuck with it.
For me personally, it picks up around 28%.

I am in love with these characters. The FMC is extremely unique, loveable, and relatable.
So many complain about Emmy, personally she does not bug me at all.
At first I thought our FMC would be so annoying and immature but she really grows on you and pieces start to click together.
I am sprinting to the next book.
Seriously Jane Washington never disappoints.

This is funny and quirky. I think it will take a bit longer to understand the world-building, but I’m interested in continuing.

Ugh, I wanted to like this so badly.
The plot was jumpy and at best confusing, there is no character development, the words are INCREDIBLY repetitive, the world-building is blah. I hate how the main character acts like a teenager/child but it’s a RH novel. So strange. This seemed like an okay first draft for a book. Not sure if I will finish the series.

Lmao I suffered a lot of second-hand embarrassment from Willa but she's still awesome and I love her and this book

This book was so good! Why did I not read it sooner?!? I am so excited this is a series and that there is more where this came from.

The female lead, Willa, is spunky and sarcastic and I took an immediate liking to her. The inner dialogue she has is hilarious and completely relatable. The writing style is quick and easy to read while still maintaining a detailed world creation.

Meanwhile the boys are all swoon worthy. Every. Single. One. However do you pick just one to ship? While this type of romantic encounter isn't my usual preference, I could not put it down. It was sweet, sultry, and entertaining. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
