I really enjoyed this. I was dubious after reading a few reviews here about potential triggers and the focus on weight etc but as a plus size person, I resonated with everything Savvy felt. I particularly enjoyed how descriptive the cooking parts were - the author definitely has a way with words that made me actually visualise what she was cooking!

Enjoyed the storyline and really enjoyed the friendships of the girls in the book!

Really enjoyed this book. It was heartwarming, it was funny. Amazing characters. Loved going through Savvy’s journey with her. Loved the relationships with her closest friends and family. And loved seeing Savvy learn to love herself.
Add in the fine man with the sweetest dog, all the cooking and tennis, and Fun these characters had together, and you have yourself such a great read! Can’t wait for more books from Taj McCoy!

Side character is a retired cop, 😒
And theres mention of calorie counting within the first like 5 minutes (i think it’s unnecessary in stories with plus size and fat characters to make them have disordered eating)

Triggering for someone with a history of eating disorders. I could not finish unfortunately.
