I really felt like the romance was lacking in this.. where was the build up ??? It just felt so rushed, no yearning and really lacked depth. The sex scenes were so bland, felt so forced and unfortunately kinda cringy. But honestly they had no connection they just had intercourse all the time

I really enjoyed this book. It was over a little too quick though. I would have liked to see a little more in the story line but overall it was a good romantasy fix.

Pretty disappointed - this has been a duology I’ve wanted to read for awhile and it did not live up to the hype… this shit was so predictable I could smell it a mile away.

The story was quite interesting and it had a few interesting twists. It's not a 5-star read for me simply because I realized I'm not a fan of instalove, especially those based primarily on lust. I felt the main couple needed more time to develop their relationship to make it more believable. Still, I liked it and want to proceed with the series.

DID NOT FINISH

I wanted to like this, but between the painful miscommunication trope and the fact that the main characters kept getting more and more insufferable as time went on, I couldn't. I had some sympathy for the MMC but the inability to talk to each other drives me bonkers.
