Learnt a lot of weird facts but the main character was annoying, I felt like it was so "I'm so edgy and psychotic" and it was too contrived for me. The whole situation with Jeremy was just cringe worthy and there for the sake of forwarding the plot in places

I really liked it, but not like her other books. Best part was the romance and learning about webcaming. The thriller aspect was not it, only a plot-twist that was kinda obvious. And the Annie thing was okey, but thought was going to be a bigger thing, I dont know how to exactly describe it. Anyways, its still a enjoyable and fast read.

I love the premise of this book so much. It had many interesting and unique aspects to it.
The pace was a bit slow. Not a lot happens considering the build up and tension.
➖However, it was written in a way that still kept me interested and entertained.
I was very intrigued in Deanna/Jessica’s life and her past. She’s a very interesting and likable character who happens to be morally grey. I happen to love morally grey characters.
I did enjoy the descriptions of her web cam interactions. I don’t think it went very far into kinky and freaky. I could have handled plenty more.
But, that’s me.
The erotic aspect is very mild in my opinion, the dark aspect as well. I think it’s a good starter book for someone who is interested in dark and erotic books, but is hesitant. This is the least disturbing of any book I’ve read that’s advertised as such.
Granted I read some pretty dark stuff, full disclosure I have very few triggers and hard limits with books.

This is a psychological thriller with sexual undertones in my opinion.
It has a little bit of romance, that’s definitely not the focus. The romance is very satisfying though.
I enjoyed the change of genre and I think it’s really well written. The author writes in a very engaging and unique way and I think plenty of research and thought was put into many aspects of the story.
I will be reading the next book in the trilogy.

There were some parts in the first half of this book that made it difficult to keep reading. I feel like a warning should have been added!

Once I hit the halfway mark I went right through it until the end.

Overall, it was a good book and I do want to see what happens in the next one.

So unique. I loved it. Deanna would like how convenient ordering things online is now days. This book was written in 2015, it’s interesting to see how things have changed.

The discussions of mental health, sex definitions, and the character development was great and interesting.
