I didn’t expect a college romance set during a study abroad program to wreck me emotionally, but Ana Huang knows how to take simple moments and turn them into something deeply real. Farrah and Blake? They stole my heart.

Farrah is ambitious, sweet, and trying to figure out who she really is outside of expectations. Blake is the golden boy—confident, charming, and hiding way more than he lets on. Their chemistry was instant, but what got me was the friendship. The late-night talks, the inside jokes, the slow unraveling of something so much deeper than attraction.

This wasn’t just about romance—it was about growing up. About identity, belonging, fear, and the bittersweet ache of knowing something might not last forever... even when it feels like it should. I laughed, I swooned, and honestly? I felt every page.

The emotional payoff? So worth it. There’s something about Ana’s writing that turns even the most ordinary moments into magic. This book gave me butterflies, broke my heart just a little, and left me wanting more of Farrah and Blake’s story.

If you’ve ever believed that some people are meant to find each other—even if the timing isn’t perfect—this book is for you.

The ending wasn't a favorite of mine or how Blake went about everything. Farrah deserved better for the excuses she was given and lies. I enjoyed this one, just not as much as her Twisted Series. I'm hoping the second one wraps this one up more and gives me something better.
