At 100 pages, this was 50 pages too long. It would have worked better as just a piece of smut fluff.
Ach, a good ol' Yule tale. I reread this delightful little novella in time for the holiday season, and it was just as cozy and sweet as the first time I'd met Lydia, Tryg, and Ezog. The story was just the perfect length to let us meet and fall in love with these three, older MC's. It was refreshing to read about the love between middle-aged characters, and Fenn didn't sacrifice any spice or romance to do it. I've loved every character Fenn has introduced, and this trio take place as some of my favorites. Highly recommend!

I love these Orcs! This short story has all you have come to expect from Fenn. Our heroine finds herself with an Orc but their story gets spicy fast. But there is so much more about this Orc. He will test her and if she pasts she just may get way more Orc than she ever expected. She is definitely a sweetheart that deserves to be treated like only an Orc can. Love the heat of this story and will never look at a red ribbon the same again.

Their romance was a spicy build-up with a happy ever after, featuring cozy hearths, happy families, and fulfilling endings.
