My goodness. I love all of Finley Fenn’s orcs, but combining this later life romance with a holiday theme meant I was SO here for it!

I know people will probably be like…. WHAT?! But although I love Sigtryggr/Tryg with his silver fox vibe, I am 110% team Ezog with his perfectly imperfect visage and his self consciousness! I am in love with him, he is SO cute! It was also lovely to see a little bit more of Tryggr and Eben mixed into the story too and I think my favourite part was the overall family vibe - so wholesome and very in spirit of holidays too 🥰 so heartwarming!

I absolutely loved this little story - I devoured it in one sitting and am already ready for a re-read!

"You live this life as long as I have, you learn what holds true weight, ach? A kind heart and an eager touch hold far more worth than all these fleeting fripperies."

This short and spicy Orc Sworn novella has everything I want in a holiday monster romance read! Lydia is a lonely widow who longs for family and a second love. Sigtryggr is a mature orc who visits Lydia for some fun every so often. When he invites Lydia to spend Yule with him in a cabin in the woods she hopes this could be the second chance at love she's been dreaming of. But when his mate shows up as well, how will she react to the revelation?

I love a later in life romance and the characters in this one pulled at all the emotions. Even in this short novella I could really feel their past hurts. But the novel doesn't dwell on the past, instead focusing on their relationship building. I really love the found family vibes and the focus on future happiness as a goal. The focus on inner character, attraction, and love was another highlight of the book for me.

And of course, with two orcs and the one woman they want this novella is packed with spice. The orcs of Orc Mountain would never suffer a woman to be unsatisfied and these two are no exception. Yuled by the Orcs has all the spice and heat that the series is known for, all packed into a quick read.

This is a fantastic, spicy, cosy holiday romance to keep you warm in the Yuletide!
