dark mysterious reflective tense medium-paced

I was hoping this would be better than the first and blow me out of the water but sadly it didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still an excellent read and I did very much enjoy it, I just don’t find it nor its predecessor live up to all the hype surrounding the books.

Very descriptive like the first book, but this time I got bored with the slow of progress. Again, alot of characters to keep up with. This has become more than a two book series and not sure I'll continue.b

This has been sitting in my TBR. I'm not sure why I had put off reading it. Perhaps it didn't feel right with Harford County, Maryland IRL spending the last year waiting for capture of what could have been a real-life serial killer. But what a mistake, I was missing out. This is really good. And like the first book, the pictures just add that little extra "truth" to the tale. Fabulous!
