If you haven't read Archer's Voice, I would recommend reading that before reading Travis. (This review will contain spoilers for Archer's Voice).
I honestly wasn't sure how the author could redeem Travis after the events in Archer's book.
The way this book began, I didn't really feel sorry for him. He deserved that and more. Keep in mind, I just read Archer's voice a couple days ago so the events are fresh in my mind.
His first meeting with Haven was hilarious and I instantly liked her. I wish the book had more from her perspective, especially since this book isn't very long.
I didn't feel the chemistry between Travis and Haven like I did Bree and Archer. Its not that there is zero chemistry, I just didn't like the couple as much. By the end of the book, I had warmed up to Travis, which I thought wouldn't be possible, so kudos to the author for that.

as much as i don’t ~completely~ forgive travis, i think he’s made such incredible strides as person throughout this book and it honestly made me love him. seeing archer and bree in this book and how happy they were was amazing and i adored haven as a character. 1000% reccomend, i love the whole vibe of the town of pelion and the people in it
This book I barely finished. It had high hopes but quickly fizzled out. I felt I learned more about Travis then Haven. It felt rushed and insta-love, which I don't like. I had to force myself to finish it.

This book follows Travis, who we originally meet in Archer’s voice. He wasn’t painted in the best light during the first book so I was curious to read about him. I really enjoyed seeing Travis’ point of view. We got to see why he behaved the way he did and see things from his perspective. I loved that he was re building his relationship with Archer and Bree in this book and that we got to see more of their characters too. It really added a lot more depth to his character which I loved. I really love Mia Sheridan’s writing and can’t wait to finish this series!
