FEBRUARY 2020: 8th REREADING:
I have been thinking for a long time (almost 4 years now) what I could possibly write to make people understand all the feelings I have for this book..
For Feyre, Rhysand and the whole "court of dreams" the truth is that I read this books focusing on various points of view during the many many rereading, but I think that the one I want to bring here today is the one before this last, June 2019.
I focused my rereading utterly on Feyre. The truth is that for the first time I realized the whole of what Sarah J. Maas describe thanks of recent experience I had in the meantime.
Usually this kind of books talk about never ending love. About a protagonist meeting her love interest and all their story ending in a happy marriage.
Sarah went over this. Sarah write not only the star-crossed love of Feyre and Rhysand, that kind of love we are looking for, the kind of love of passion, respect and freedom. Sarah also tells us that some kind of loves are not mean for the "forever", some kind of love became poison and for our well we must stop them.
She describe Feyre's guilt and her healing process in a way I had never read before and I didn't understand until recent experience and, ever before that, thinking about Feyre strongness gave me the courage to take difficult choice for my own.
So, more of a review this is my love letter to one of my favorite books of all time.
Don't forget to look at the stars and wish.. And to look for your Rhysand in a world full of Tamlins.
