A great book if you liked one day in December - I loved seeing the characters weave in and out of each others lives (in a cheesy way of course) and then going on their own development and self discovery - a great book to end the year on

This was a cute one :). Very enjoyable and pretty clean, too.

This was my first read by Cousens and it definitely won’t be my last! Perfect NYE and New Year vibes thanks to perspectives of Minnie and Quinn over the years. I loved experiencing self growth through many of the characters throughout the story, so beautiful. Tight knit family and found family via friends and coworkers was so heart warming. I loved this story so much ♥️

My second @sophie_cousens book and my favorite so far! This is a book I will definitely listen to again.

Synopsis: Minnie Cooper was born unlucky, or so she had always been told. She was born one minute too late to win the New Years baby prize money, and life never got easier. Her family struggled to make ends meet and she struggled with bad luck.
Quinn Hamilton was born lucky, or so everyone thought. He was rich, handsome and always went out with beautiful women. But Quinn’s life wasn’t as easy as everyone thought.
Though they seem to be worlds apart, these two characters are often, unknowingly, in the same place at the same time. Now, on New Years Day 2020, their 30th birthday, they will truly meet for the first time and Minnie will get to tell Quinn why he’s to blame for her bad luck.
Minnie and Quinn strike up an accidental friendship as they continue to connect throughout 2020. Their friendship pushes both of them to look harder at themselves and how they want their own life to be moving forward.

sometimes you just want a popcorn romcom; definitely cute, but, when I read adult romance I want it a little steamier.
