sometimes you just want a popcorn romcom; definitely cute, but, when I read adult romance I want it a little steamier.

Minnie Cooper missed out on being the first Nineties baby by about a minute. Quinn Hamilton was not on the first nineties baby but he also stole Minnie’s name. For thirty years Minnie hated a man she never met until one NYE. Minnie never wanted to go out on new years because she felt as thought she was unlucky. When she finally meets the man she has despised it takes her on a wild journey.
I thought This Time Next Year was a cute romantic read. It was just the book I needed to end a crazy year. I really enjoyed it

This was very cute. A bit more Bridget Jones pulling-disaster-life-together than romance, but still a lovely read. The romance was weirdly developed, and felt more like a presumption than a natural get together, but I shipped it even if it was a little off.
Love, friendship, family and New Year’s. Loved the storyline of the year along with the flashbacks that added so much to it. Minnie and Quinn find each other throughout their lives after their moms give birth together, they just don’t know it. But finally they meet on New Year's Eve after all these years later.
I loved how it shows relationships are always evolving and hard work especially why working on yourself. Along with, Minnie and Lelia friendship which added so much to this story, loved the Sonic references and that you shouldn’t settle for less.
This was a great way to start 2021 and loved the theme!
