A pure romance novel <3

3.5 rounded up (probably closer to a 3, but all the 3s I've given this month are much worse than this). This was cute! A little bit more self improvement than romance. The jumping back in time took me out of the story sometimes, but it was a solid read.

Easy to read, I liked the non linear narrative, I hated the finally independent but now get together with the predestined boy story line.

I love this author and have read every book Sophie Cousens has written! While this one wasn’t a favorite, it was funny and cute. A twist on star crossed lovers, and truly makes one think about how often people come into our lives and second chances. Thoroughly enjoyed the concept of both the main characters being born on the same day, and giving them instant common ground.

Cons of the book: there were times it felt like the story was slow to progress and the shifting of the various timelines (jumping to various years) was confusing as I found myself flipping back the pages to confirm what happened when.

Pros: likable main characters and side characters. Funny moments and inner dialogue. Absolutely loved the shared moments and memories each of the main characters had without them realizing who the other was at the time. HEA.

Decent. Pretty cookie-cutter romance novel. Appreciated all of the women supporting each other.

I love stories that feature almost intros, not quite meet cutes, and just missed opportunities. Although I don't believe in fate, I love a good story that shows two characters that it appears the universe is trying to bring together, but can't quite get the timing right. Until it does.

Super cute love story! Just what I needed!
