This book is very dark and has a lot of seriously questionable events that take place. I enjoyed the book but I also don’t have trigger of my own,  there were many times I didn’t agree with the actions. This book is not for those with triggers or past trauma. This book revolves around murder, stalking, human sacrifice and sex trafficking.  If you enjoy reading about crime or watching those crime mystery shows while reading smut then you may enjoy this book

If I’m being honest with myself, objectively, this book is terrible. But god damn if I didn’t immediately order the next book. I’ve told 4 random people about Haunting Adeline in the last 2 days before I even finished the book. Each time I’ve begun with “ok so it’s terrible but hear me out”. It made me feel icky, but also… I’m into it. 

This is a dark romance. If you are easily triggered by any of the below things, this won’t be the book for you:

Great book! I went through so many emotions trying to read this, because it was so dark I felt guilty for liking the characters bc they were so dark. The author did a good job of making you like the characters even if they’re not actually likeable????
