Definitely something completely different to what I was expecting as my boyfriend picked it out for me because in his words “vampire lesbian romance”. It was not that at all (bless his heart) but it was not an unpleasant experience. I actually really enjoyed the first half of the book from “Maria’s” POV but found the second part slightly repetitive and less interesting.
I really enjoyed this and found it easy enough to follow, kind of wishes the first part had continued and the second part could have been left out. I wanted to know more about this nomadic vampires life.
