This one was interesting. All those years later. Kids of our heroes.
Not impressed that it was done as a play, though I would not object to seeing the play.
Story line is acceptable, new characters were ok for me.
could be I am past the potter phase of my life.
though if more come out I will be there - like a car accident, you just cant look away

That was a very nostalgic, very very nostalgic. The kind when you hear the soundtrack in your head, picture all the characters perfectly and reminisce in memories with them.
i Spent half of the read crying and the other half yelling at Albus like i am his mom or something, definitely felt like, "I am old now." :D
But that wasn't a Rowling. I mean it was good and was Rowling approved but for me the story ended with her last words.
The cursed child is after all kind of fan fiction.
It felt like that would be something i would write if I did fan fiction. Things a fan wants to hear and situations we would want to see or imagined them ourselves sometimes. Questions that are in fans' heads.
But it was fun, I liked it. And it's better than nothing right? :D
So Thanks Mr. Tiffany for bringing him back to us.

I was really hesitant about this book at first... I kinda liked not knowing what happens after the king's cross station, I liked the mystery. I didn't really think the characters will be the same written by someone else. I hoped really hard that the world and the characters would feel the same and sadly I was right, they felt completely off.
I honestly didn't care much for the plot... Like I said above I had no problem not knowing what happens after the station. Yes, They were some elements that I enjoyed, but a lot of the old characters just felt off, this entire book just felt like a really really badly written fanfiction. I wish I could just erase it from my mind.
even though the book wasn't written by J.K. Rowling and the writing style was completely different from the other 7 books, some parts of the story still made me feel nostalgic and if it wasn't for the nostalgia factor i think i would i have given this book 1 star.

Read it in one afternoon. Wasn't sure I even actually wanted to read it, but so glad I did. I loved reading more about Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, etc, and really enjoyed the story. Hope to have the opportunity to see the play one day.
