Ah, Caleb - what can I say. You have to love him even when you hate him!! You know what they say - be careful what you wish for? Well that is very true with this book - we all wanted Caleb's POV - but maybe we should have left him well enough alone. That's not to say that the story he told was horrible - it's just that the monster shouldn't have been poked.
In the end, I believe that he found his redemption - his life was stolen as a child and as a direct result he did horrible things. But he deserved his second chance, and through Livvy and his actions, I think he found forgiveness - especially self-forgiveness, which he needed. Thanks for such a awe-inspiring ride Mrs. Roberts!! It was a wonderful trip!

The Epilogue picks up right where a little bit before book two left us, it is the in between Livvie and Caleb getting to their happily ever after.

Caleb is struggling to figure out who he is in this world and the only thing he know is that he can't live without Livvie. The only problem is Livvie has changed and has a new life that she wants to live and involve Caleb in.

I loved the way Caleb slowly changed and made small compromises but still had an inner battle with himself about what he would have done before it really showed him growing as a character. I really loved being in Caleb's head and understanding him more, he is still broken but his deI found it heartbreaking to be in his head at times while he struggled with who he use to be and the person he wants to be for Livvie.

Because we are strickly in Caleb's head we don't really know how Livvie feels about him being back other than what she says and what we have t go of from the last book. there is no doubt she loves him but we don't know if she really understands how hard it is for him to do the simple things like meet her friends. Livvie has changed and is a stronger character in this book and with that she stands up to Caleb more and challenges him which I felt was part of what would eventually fix Caleb and help him be able to integrate in to society and get over his demons from his past.

I loved these two and was so glad to read about them finally finding a happily ever after.

“I missed you every day, Kitten. Every. Fucking. Day.”

Oh my god......this is WOW...almost speechless!! So I absolutely love the other 2 books but this one is my favorite...its from Caleb's point of view and my oh my.... I almost wish that all the books were from Caleb's point view.
Its a great way to end this series....the book answers all the remaining question and awwwww...not telling more...you will have to discover the story!!

I just love this series! Hearing Caleb tell the somewhat happy ending just made it better! Not much to say except if you haven't read this series it's an absolute must! Don't be scared; yes it's dark, but I guarantee you will end up loving it!!!

Madam Roberts has redeemed herself from The Great Name Debacle of Book 2. Apparently, she's an author who reads her reviews and discovered how simply disgusted her readers were with the name foolery.

I loved seeing Caleb's POV and getting inside his head, heart, and insecurities. All while he manages to maintain his dominance. When he suddenly flips back into old Caleb and throws everything off the table, I literally sat up in my seat like "oh fuck." Twas delicious.

Nicely done.
