So she was sort of annoying me at the beginning, I was wanting to scream at her to stop being such a pity party. And to enjoy her life.

She does get better, less self absorbed and bearable. I did in the end, end up enjoying this book!

So cute! Loved all the proposals!

Holly Martin has done it again. This book was perfect, made me laugh and made me cry, the ending was absolutely beautiful. Holly Martin’s books are the perfect remedy for a bad day.

I loved the idea of this book. But then I started it and it threw me really bad. It was so weird. I finally figured out that it was because they're British. ( the author and the characters.) After that revelation everything made way more sense and it was okay.

I thought that both Suzie and and Harry needed to be locked in a small room with Jack's letter until they sorted out their feelings. I mean come on what kind of guys up and outstanding job offer to stay and work on a tiny internet business with a girl accept that he doesn't want to leave her. Duh.

The premise of the book was really interesting which made really excited about starting this book.

The book relies heavily on the non-communication-between-the-main-characters theme which while ok at the beginning turned out to be irritating as the book progressed. It was good reading about the different countries (and the author could really describe them. Made me want to visit those places now). The proposals started off interesting really but stopped hooking me at about the halfway mark because the characters were annoying me.

If they both had only spoke about their feelings (for almost two years!!!), I might have enjoyed this more. As a result, I just wanted to end the book or atleast go into the book and starting banging both their heads together.

If the miscommunication trope is something you don't mind, then you can read this for the proposal ideas and the different countries.

Non-stop adorbs.

Although this book is predictable and very obvious I have to say I throughly enjoyed it. I devoured this book whole over an afternoon and loved every minute of it. The chemistry of the two main characters in undeniable from the beginning and makes for a charming read if not a terribly cliched ending.
