I loooooved this book! Such a fun and cute romance. I love the friends to romance trope and it seems to be all I'm reading these days. This is definitely one of the best! I love the format of this book. It's mainly in Suzie's POV but we do get glimpses into Harry's mind thru the blogs entries. I like that I wasn't quite sure of Harry's feelings until about half way into the book. I mean, I had a pretty good guess but the author threw in events that definitely made me question it. While it is unrealistic that anything like this would ever happen it was incredible fun to read. It must have been fun for the author to research so many outrageous ways for a proposal to happen. I just loved it. Suzie was a great main character as was Harry, it just kept me rooting for them the whole time!
Having read and loved the short story in the first Sunlounger anthology I was excited when I heard about this book. It was a quick, easy read. However I'm getting a little tired of stories where the female protagonist is in love with her male best friend and he's in love with her but neither of them does or says anything and this drags on for the entire story. So, predictable, but still good if you want a bit of escapism.
I honestly don't know what rating I'd give this book, and I mean that in a good way. There were instances that had me pulling my hair but really, when I think about it, Suzie and Harry took forever to act on their love towards each other.
I love how the author used the concept of blogging when it came down to the proposals. There was even a secret blog. I was hoping that Liz would be able to read the secret blog and post something about it as well. That would have made the ending of the book sweeter (for me).
The proposals itself were very creative. Now, I just have to show this to my fiance in the very distant future, just in case he may want to get creative *wink wink*

Suzie lost her brother Jack and Harry has been there for her ever since, her best friend who she is also secretly in love with. Harry is a bit of a ladies man who has a massive fear of rejection so never allows anyone to get close except Suzie his best friend.
This is an extravaganza of romantic proposals set all around the world with two main characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. Even though at times, and after many misunderstandings, I was wanting to bang their heads together as much as their rudey bits.
It’s not all schmaltzy romance though there are some genuinely funny moments the cow onesie proposal in particular and also some tender heartfelt moments as Suzie tries to navigate her feelings towards her sister in law moving on after losing Jack.
With a lovely supportive cast of characters including the wonderful Badger and the not so wonderful sexy Samantha and ex Chloe this is the ultimate will they won’t they read.

Was cute, love me some pining but bruh they were both so dense and that fact is not minimised just because other characters acknowledge that; the main couple are still super unaware and refuse to see the other’s feelings. Built upon miscommunication lmao but idk it was still wholesome and the characters were interesting enough. Wish there was more spice at the end too lol, that felt rushed.
Anyways I still enjoyed it, I know it sounds like I didn’t but I enjoyed listening to the audiobook and I finished it so…
