Definitely was as sappy as I expected, but a little bit too much sex for my preferences.

This was such a fun, light-hearted story! It's the classic friends-to-lovers trope but I found the premise so entertaining.

Suzie and Harry are partners at a firm that designs innovative proposals for couples. As a publicity stunt to gain more business, Harry 'proposes' to propose to Suzie in a hundred different ways. Soon a travel company sponsors them to travel across beautiful locations worldwide for free and write about the various proposals.

I've got to say - some of the proposals were clichés, but most of them were so ingenious and fun! Also, the way Harry blogs about them in a flirty, hilarious way was just delightful. These are two of the most lovable rom-com characters I've read. I heartily recommend this book - 5 stars!

Well. Several things about this book was like... okay, I don't think so, but people can be weird. Like is there really a guy who would declare love by pretending to propose, while he hangs out with girls (sexually) and whenever the girl he adores tells him she loves him he laughs it off? That was... oh. Well, incredible. (In a bad way.)
Also, if you really are into someone, can you cuddle up without at least touching their arm/chest/whatever with your lips when you happen to be there? What really closed the door for me, was when Boy and Girl were cuddling in their underwear and they did not kiss anyhow and Boy just fell asleep. Without any sexual arousal. Really? That should have been the turning point, and HM missed it, so the very end fell flat :(
And for the actual end: just one enter after they declare undying love, it says if you enjoyed this book, check out more from HM. Wtf?!? Please!!!

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Some of the ideas were far-fetched, but there were also many creative ones.

I've just found a new author to add to my watchlist!
Ms. Martin's writing was absolutely lovely. It felt lile along with Harry and Suzie I went on a mini world trip myself. Their interaction was so very cute, and it became obvious pretty early on that Harry's had feelings for Suzie for quite a while, only it's not that obvious to her. Like others, part of me whined "tell each other you love them already!" But I've learnt (mostly by reading countless romance novels, haha) that it's not that simple. I've always been fond of the trope where the girl loves the guy forever, but he starts to notice her like that quite recently; lately I've read books where the reverse happens. I wasn't too keen on it first but hey, everyone's human.

Loved the story, loved the characters (all except the creepy Japanese photographer-I'd be the creep if i liked him) and the sneak peek of The Guestbook was just too good. I am going to HAVE to read that.

Such a cute friends to lovers romance!! Loved Harry, Suzie was a little annoying in parts but overall I loved them together! Excited for the next one now!
