Wow. Where do I start? I highlighted and tabbed so much of this book. There were points in this book where I felt completely gutted and sad for some of the characters.
The underlying hidden effects of this book are so terrifyingly heartbreaking that it makes this book horrific. It makes you look at how things like fear can really control your life.
I think this is the first horror book that had me close to tears.

Overall I enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to read. I think most people who enjoy reading horror will like this one. For me, it started well and I loved the pace, but then it kinda fell flat for me. I guess with the build up of the first half, I was expecting more. I figured out the story mostly, but it did have a little twist at the end.
