Garish colors. Ugly art. Text that thinks it is clever and funny but isn't. At least it isn't mean-spirited. And it's short. Maybe it's a tiny bit funny. But no.

This book is completely dependent on audience participation, and ends very abruptly. There is no plot or story. Some children will love this, but I was the kind of kid who was creeped out when Dora asked her viewers questions, and this goes in the same vein. I wouldn't want to read this aloud for storytime unless I was extremely confident that all or most of the kids would engage.
