Darcy Coates has been one of my favourite horror writers for a long time. The Gravekeeper series is a venture in a different direction as it not only features ghosts, but also a beautiful friendship between three very different individuals. The Twisted Dead is the third book of the series and as expected it did not disappoint. This book was full of the answers of the questions that came up in the first and second books. Keira's mystery pursuers are finally brought to light. Mason's secret is unearthed and Zoe; well, Zoe is Zoe.
Without a doubt, this is my favourite book of the series, and one of the main reasons is that the book pick up where the second was left off. And that is always a positive in my book. you don't need to wade through a lot of unnecessary background information to get to the point.
Since the whole series is a light hearted horror, I would recommend this to readers who want to venture into horror but are afraid of starting any.
Thank you Netgalley, Poisoned Pen Press and the author for the ARC. I had an absoute blast reading this.

Picked this up not realizing it was a sequel.  However, the book is written in a way that I didn't feel lost not have read the first 2.  Keira has the ability to see ghosts who are still tied to this earth.  She has 2 friends that support her - Zoe and Mason.  Those friends must have more of a backstory that is given in the earlier books.  Keira is trying to help her neighbor get rid of the family ghosts that are feeding on him.  This is introduced early in the book but then kinda goes away until the end.  There is a sinister organization that is trying to get rid of her.  You find out later in the book why.  Definitely another book coming.  This is a beach read/vacation type series.  Moderately recommend.

"Sometimes you end up with ugly bits in your life. Things you’d give anything to go back and erase. But the past is immovable, and your choices are set in stone, and you just have to try to figure out how to live with what’s been done."

The third book of Gravekeeper collection is the BEST!

Keira has a gift, if the word "gift" could be even the right word for someone who can see the dead. She lives in a groundskeeper's cottage near the cemetery and also has a black magic cat, Daisy. :)

What more do we need? Ghosts, Daisy, well let me see, haunted house, vampire spirits, two cool and fellow friends (Zoe and Mason), one unusual friend-Harry, chase and run on a trip road and Twisted Deads!

This time unfinished stories and unanswered questions reveal. Keira figured out about her past and people who have been after her, we get to know more about Mason and why he left medical school, and Zoe, my favorite,
"Smart technology is a pretty bow put on top of a corporate spy machine. Do you want the government sending laser beams into your ear to burrow a hole straight through your squishy, malleable brain? Huh?"

Darcy Coates is one of my favorites and I really enjoyed Gravekeeper series, as there is more mission to complete, I eagerly waiting for the next book.

Huge thanks to Poisoned Pen Press via NetGalley for giving me a chance of reading The Twisted Dead (Gravekeeper #3) by Darcy Coates, I have given my honest review.
