If you are into brain stuff, you should like this. It’s based on many of the same principles as Daniel Kahneman’s ‘Thinking Fast & Slow.’ As a positive, it offers a great sense of humor. The frequent pithy comments are a welcome surprise. As a negative (for me), there’s a lot of politics, public policy, and corporate governance. Interesting to a point, but I ended up speeding through whole sections.

I like the style of writing - they make complicated economic choices easier to understand. And there are "Easter eggs" if you're into pop culture and literature references. Also peppered in are examples from their own lives.

Though I must admit behaviorally I most often react as a human - thanks hormones - the econ in me adored this book

I skimmed the last half of the book. Perhaps I am simply not the audience for it.
The authors seemed to operate on the assumption that capitalism is, at worst, neutral. Perhaps that there are just a few bad agents in the system.
It also felt like it could have been 200 pages shorter and convey the same ideas.
I sure hope it is actually the final edition.
