This is Cinderella re-telling step-brother romance.  Be sure to Check TW!

Ember has basically been on her own since her mom passed away 5 years ago. She comes home from school to find her Dad home which is unusual. Then he introduces her to his wife.  Not only has he been an absentee father but now he married without telling her.  The step-monster (and that description is being kind) has four sons.  There is instant attraction between Ember and her step-brothers. They are given rooms in Ember’s wing and can’t wait to enjoy her because Odette (step-monster) has promised her to them.

There is obviously lots of spice including crossing swords but there is a story here too. Lots of drama and trauma.

TRIGGER WARNING: Self harm content. I did not finish this book and I don’t think I ever will. There were a lot of things I didn’t care for but decided to look past because the sex scenes were good and I wanted to see where the plot was going. However, the straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of the guys helped her cut herself and turn it into a dom/sub kind of thing??? No absolutely not. I’m all for consensual bdsm but cutting is a serious sign of mental illness and to turn that into some kind of foreplay, even with consent, is disgusting. While the author did provide a link to a list of trigger warnings they needed to be clearly stated in the Foreword of the book. Do not read this book if you have a history of self harm.

What little I read was very steamy/forbidden however I had to DNF at 15% due to
Spoilerdetailed info about self-harm/cutting.
I have a very weak stomach for blood, yes...even "just reading about it." I barely made it through the last Twilight book due to descriptive scenes with blood but was already committed to finishing the series so I powered through. I have PLENTY on my TBR so I went ahead & DNF'd this one.
