It was an ok read, not great though. The main character Alice failed to notice so many warning signs. Throughout the book, I kept saying to myself why is she so stupid and constantly butting into people’s business. She repeatedly exploited her neighbors’ trauma, manipulating situations and consistently painting them as murderers rather than grieving individuals wanting to move on. If she would’ve just minded her business, she would not have gotten into this mess. This is what takes away from the book for me because it’s hard to believe anyone would fail to notice and actively ignore danger the way she did.

Okay listen… I’m all about doing some questionable things because you’re nosy… but dear god in heaven Alice was DUUUUUMB. Yes I know Leo lied to her, but the way I think she treated him for it and goes so far as to boot him out of his own house? No thanks. Her obsession with girls named “Nina” was a little too abnormal for me and with no reason behind the first girl before her sister…. Just no.
I don’t think I will pick up another book by this author. My TBR list is too long to not be shocked and awed by my reads and this did nothing but create yawns.

This book was good, I was not expecting the ending. This is the first book I've read from this author. I would read another one for sure. In some places the story was a bit lacking and Alice was acting naive, so it made me roll my eyes. I don't understand the title of the book as the therapy was not the main focus of this book and according to the title I was expecting a different storyline.
