J’ai bien aimé la première moitié, l’auteur nous tient en haleine grâce une intrigue mystérieuse. Mais la deuxième moitié est un peu plus tirée par les cheveux. J’ai vite été désintéressée par le dénouement

Starts off slow but picks up as it goes along. The language, particularly the conversations between characters, felt somewhat stilted, although I found it less noticeable when the pacing picked up. You do find yourself getting frustrated by the protagonist, Alice, who it seems is a bit slow on the uptake at times, to the point you may find yourself yelling at her in your head. The twists at the end make up for some of the frustrations of getting there, however, I almost didn't give it the chance. 2.75 stars rounded up to 3.
