A good read. Slow at the start but you can tell it is to set up the plot. Kaz is so badass. Definitely reading book 2 as the cliffhanger is unbearable. “Because our crime is existing. Our crime is what we are.”

Although this takes place in the same world as the Shadow and Bone series, I liked Six of Crows a lot more. Each character's backstory was interesting and the plot was very engaging. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.
