If I were more into Shakespeare I'm sure I would have loved this but it was still very good! A couple quotes that I thoroughly enjoyed:
"Sit not there, either, for the boy in front
Is flatulent beyond all remedy."
"My father, he who Toaster Strudel did
Invent, would not be pleas'd to hear of it"

Absolutely hysterical! If ever there was a film that could lend itself to Shakespeare, it's Mean Girls. The work has the perfect balance of Shakespeare-esque speech and modern prose from the film. Must-read as an audiobook!
His Star Wars books are still my favorite, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Shakespearization of Tina Fey’s classic.

It was funny reading a Shakespearean Mean Girls, but I don't like iambic pentameter and Shakespeare English enough to continue.
I watched this movie just to read the book. Backwards I know, but I’ve never seen this before.
Anyway, the book was hilarious and spot on.

Clever and original but not a page turner. I also think one would only appreciate it if familiar with the Mean Girls plot
I’ve never been a fan of Shakespeare.
I’ve ALWAYS been a fan of Mean Girls.
I have much of the movie memorized. Recognizing certain favorite quote and one-liners translated into Shakespearean-style format CRACKED. ME. UP!!! Especially when I saw how they translated the line “too gay to function”
