Another banger! Usually I don’t go for second chance romance but this one was SOOOOOO well done! The eventual yearning on both their parts was so delicious, love it!
I didn't really like this book, but it got 2 stars because there were some funny moments.

If you’re not a fan of the miscommunication trope, this book isn’t for you - because it pretty much is miscommunication all the way through. Main character just makes assumptions and then refuses to ask any questions or talk openly about literally anything. She is also very inconsistente. She goes from resigned to a mid-relationship, where she tells herself she doesn’t love him a lot, but it’s fine and it seems like it might be as good as it gets, to absolutely loathing him and the whole relationship in one night because (miscommunication trope) he makes one comment from which she assumes he’s trying to force her into breaking up with him because…. He wants her to be the bad guy in the break up? And then she proceeds to disregard all proof of him trying to talk about their issues, working things out and trying to keep the relationship going (like buying a house and vehemently declaring it THEIR house).
So, she was annoying and kinda dumb and Im not entirely sure why he loves her - except for her being beautiful, obviously. Like, when she falls back in love with him, we get why. We see, from her pov, why she loves him. But she didn’t really seem to have many redeeming qualities or traits that would make me understand why he stuck it out for so long.
