Atakan acts like a spoiled child, it's so unattractive. When it turns out they're mates and he pushes the bond on her , that was it. Disappointing, because I thought the book got WAY better after she goes to Vane. Oh well.

i have conflicting feelings about this book because i failed to really connect with any of the characters, the story was hard to follow at times (had to reread a couple of parts), and i don’t really love who she ended up with tbh…is that an unpopular opinion lol
i also did get a bit bored halfway through but as soon as the story completely changed direction at like 60%, i could not put it down.
overall, an enjoyable fast paced fantasy standalone if you don’t feel like starting another series!

There's very little plot other than she's marrying a handsome and cruel prince who she will clearly fall in love with but it's so predictable and kind of boring. I wouldn't mind if the relationship was a sub plot but there's really morning else going on.
