Overall enjoyed this. Thought it was going to be more of a love triangle than it was. The writing was a little confusing at times. I feel like the world building could have been better. A couple times I felt like ‘wait wtf are we talking about…’ but it was fun. Read most of it in one sitting

Big fan of the FMC, I liked her spunk. Atakan was also 🔥 👌 overall the world was super interesting, I just feel like it could have used some editing, and the pacing was off. The ingredients were there, just needed some better prep. Spice scenes were great 👍

This book felt like the author had taken bits from other authors and put them together (the throne scene, for example). I was confused about who the MMC was supposed to be and at one point didn't care for either of them.
I know this is fantasy, but venom isn't poisonous. That annoyed me!
I think being a standalone made it impossible to fully develop this into something great.

I don't know why I had the misfortune of having this book in my kindle library but I have never read anything that has made me screw face all throughout the book before. It's giving 2013 love triangle nonsence, cheating trope that they don't even untangle properly, absolutely ridiculous plot.
