🌶️This is a casual summer read, I picture it like episodes of outer banks. There were a couple moments that gave me pause or the ick, but I was invested in the story and getting to the pivitol moments. I'm a super fan of elle kennedy hockey stories, so this was a nice surprise to see her writing in another setting. I still enjoyed it. The only other negative for me was there were way too many side characters that never gave me reason to care about.

honestly very heavy in narrative. The sexual tension is pretty good and I needed something light this did the trick. I did a lot of skimming. Rich girl/townie is not my favorite trope but couldn't bare to put another book on hold

I don’t give many one star reviews, but this is a booktok book that was overhyped. The character developments? lackluster. The plot? boring. The spice? Horrible. Maybe I expected more from a summer beach read but this was not it. A booktok book that can stay on the shelves.

Honestly felt more invested in the secondary characters and Daisy than our MCs. Felt the entrepreneurial side of Mac was cool. Felt the third act break up was resolved too quickly.
