That was great! The amount of research that went into this is impressive, I loved seeing the rise of Caesar’s political career and the backstory of key figures in Rome’s political system. While sometimes the time jumps back and forth disrupted the flow, the main legal thriller aspects of the book were the best.

Como siempre la prosa de Posteguillo es muy interesante, pero a veces cansaba tanto flashback que alejaba de la parte central (el juicio). En la nota histórica comenta que no hay muchas fuentes en la vida de Cesar que narra este primer libro, y eso explica por qué casi no se habla de ella más que en la parte del juicio. Buen libro, aunque en mi opinión pudo haber sido algo más corto. Aun así leeré el siguiente.

Muy entretenido, Posteguillo escribe muy bien. Un libro completamente introductorio, pero que deja el camino labrado a eventos que se notan que son los que le dan la fama a César que dura hasta el día de hoy.

Y lo otro... Que bien reconstruye los discursos de los juicios Posteguillo, son una batalla en sí.
