personally I just know the reason the book didn't hit for me is because I shamefully saw the movies first so I had a general idea of all the events that were going to occur which made it such a harder read than it was actually meant to be (as its not hard to read its for younger kids however I lost motivation to read multiple times). I do want and will continue hopefully me watchings the show with my sister will inspire and motivate me to finish this series (there's a lot of books so i'm a tad bit overwhelmed but oh well !?)

I love the book, it is amazing for young adventurous readers.

I originally read The Lightning Thief as a pre-teen. It fostered a deep love for Greek mythology and is a sentimental read. I made a goal to reread this series and the Harry Potter series this year because I haven’t read them in over a decade!! Considering it’s April I probably need to get a move on

I feel a little bad for not having read this when I was younger but regardless I enjoyed this SO MUCH, it truly is a story for all ages with so many adventures. I couldn't help but love Percy and Annabeth and Grover, especially Grover I wanted to take care of him forever.
