I enjoyed Mac and Cooper’s new adult romance story! This had the vibes and plot of a CW series (and that’s a good thing!) - rich girl who wants more out of life than what her parents dictate - hanging out with the local bad boy - local bad boy who is more than his reputation - beaches and dive bars and bonfires - rescue dog

If I would have read this physically I probably would have rated it lower, but the audiobook was pretty enjoyable (particularly the graphic audio if you’re interested.)
The couple was one of those couples that you just know won’t last longer than a year. I like reading romance books where the romance….you know makes sense. If that’s what you’re looking for this is not it.
The characters did feel realistic and I did like that, but man were the majority of them toxic.. with not much character development.
The ending did fall quite short as well.
Giving outer banks vibes for sure though. If you love outer banks and want a book like that without a treasure hunt, this is your book.

This was cute... just cute. I liked the characters and their development. It just seemed a little awkward and cringe at times, but still cute.

I had a really hard time finishing this. I don’t know why but it just took me forever and I had really high hopes for this. I felt like at times it needed more and then at other times just dragged on. 2.5 stars.
Cute, fun, and quick story with a little bit of romance and sprinking of spice.
