I’m a sucker for Cardan content. Listen he’s an asshole but he’s the best asshole. Just a small little read that’s charming. Managed to finish it in less then a day. It’s cute, fun, and interesting. Glad I read it.

The art is gorgeous and it’s a cute, short book. I like the fairy tale part of it with the boy with a heart of stone and how Holly Black retells it with 3 variations.

while i enjoyed the folk of the air series, i've never been a fan of jude and cardan's relationship. quite frankly, i find it to be the worst type of enemies to lovers because cardan seems outright abusive until the last book. that being said, i really enjoyed this collection as it brings more understanding to cardan's character and shows some great character growth. the art work is absolutely gorgeous and i easily read this in a night.
