it was basically just physical between them. i literally read 3/4 of the book and i’m like “what am i missing? why do they desire each other so much with literally knowing like 1% of each others lives?!” then when the spicy scene hit im like that’s it… they just wanted to get laid. no emotional connection just a middle school level crush. overhyped book with basic level chemistry in my opinion. dnfed.
